Salary and Benefits

Salary: Resident salary depends on your post-graduate year. Please see GME > Salary and Benefits.

Education Funds: MetroHealth Radiology residents are each provided dedicated CME funds to use for conference attendance or the purchase of educational materials throughout their residency training. Additionally, residents completing research or presenting at national conferences are eligible to receive additional funding.   Funding includes attendance at the American Institute of Radiologic Pathology course in Silver Spring, MD for all residents during their PGY-4 year.

House Officers Association: Our HOA is an active organization comprised by resident and fellow members of graduate medical education programs across the institution. The HOA promotes various fun and educational activities for trainees through the year, and HOA leaders represent their members on hospital committees such as the executive Graduate Medical Education Committee. Health and Wellness: MetroHealth prioritizes the health and wellness of our trainees. We maintain a low-cost on-site gym facility (Metrocize), and all residents are eligible to participate in the MetroHealthy Wellness Initiative
