Application Process

All applications to the Diagnostic Radiology residency program must be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS). Our department participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).

We encourage all qualified applicants to apply to our program, regardless of your background or year of graduation from medical school. We pride ourselves in interviewing and recruiting a diverse group of talented, and highly motivated residents, several of whom have excelled in our program after initially pursuing other specialties.

Application Requirements

To consider your application to our diagnostic training program, we require the following documents:

  • Completed Application
  • Personal Statement
  • Dean's Letter
  • Medical School Transcript
  • Three Letters of Recommendation (not more than one year old)
  • USMLE/NBME or COMLEX Transcripts/Scores

Our selection committee will review your application once the items listed above have been received. We do not apply any set screens to our applicant pool, although we favor candidates with a solid academic background and good performance on standardized exams. Candidates with a failing score on a USMLE/COMLEX Step exam may receive lower priority for consideration.

Our deadline for the receipt of applications and all required items is November 1st. Invitations for interviews are offered as applications are reviewed and will be sent via email.
