Why I chose MetroHealth PM&R Residency: The well-rounded training from the locked brain injury unit to sports coverage, with plenty of research opportunities and funding on top of fantastic faculty and a great culture built into the residency.
My favorite things about living in Cleveland: The professional sports teams, access to Lake Erie and the park system, and exploring various restaurants with my wife and friends!

Why I chose MetroHealth PM&R Residency: I chose MetroHealth PM&R Residency for its incredibly supportive and kind community of co-residents and faculty and for its well-rounded program with robust inpatient neurorehabilitation training.
My favorite things about living in Cleveland: Exploring and running in Metroparks and the awesome ice cream scene here!

Why I chose MetroHealth PM&R Residency: As someone interested in neurorehab, I was really impressed with the SCI and TBI services offered at MetroHealth. I did an away rotation here during my M4 year, and it was a great experience!
My favorite things about living in Cleveland: I enjoy the Tremont area, Climb Cleveland (climbing gym) and Leavened (bakery)! The local MetroParks are also really great.

Why I chose MetroHealth PM&R Residency: I chose MetroHealth PM&R because of the strong sense of community within the program, its collaborative nature including shared didactic lectures and opportunities to rotate at other hospital systems, and the strong inpatient neurorehab training opportunities.
My favorite things about living in Cleveland: Cleveland has so many things to do! I love going to sporting events, and Cleveland really has it all when it comes to professional sports. There's also tons of great recreational sites at the MetroParks and Cuyahoga Valley National Park so I can easily get outside and be active in my free time. I love Mitchell's Ice Cream!

Why I chose MetroHealth PM&R Residency: The opportunity to get a well-rounded training in PM&R with an integrated intern year, the camaraderie of the program amongst the residents and faculty, and the invaluable research and mentorship available at the MetroHealth Rehabilitation Institute in all areas of physiatry.
My favorite things about living in Cleveland: Amazing food scene (especially the ice cream), a city passionate about its sports, and amazing trails to walk along at the MetroParks.
