Continuity Clinic

  • Our residents have continuity clinic at two different sites - Middleburg Heights and Buckeye Health Center
  • These are Med-Peds clinic staffed by MetroHealth Med-Peds attendings
  • The different sites give residents exposure to a diversity of patient populations and available resources
  • Residents have an ambulatory week every fourth week while on Internal Medicine and one half-day clinic session per week while on Pediatrics to mirror the categorical residents’ schedule
  • During the third year, residents can select a longitudinal clinic (for example, a subspecialty clinic) tailored to their interests to attend during one of their continuity sessions per module 

Buckeye Health Center

  • Located on the east side of Cleveland serving a primarily underserved population 
  • Lab services, pharmacy, and social work available on site
  • Partnering with Ob-Gyn to provide prebirth visits for expectant mothers 
  • Home to the Buckeye Community Resource Center which houses several community organizations that provide both patients and members of the community with food, housing, legal assistance, and more

Middleburg Heights November Family Center

  • Located in a suburb southwest of Cleveland
  • Lab services, pharmacy, radiology, and social work available on site
  • Home to over 20 subspecialty clinics 
  • PT and OT services available
