Application Process

To apply to the EMS Fellowship Program, please complete our Universal Application. Interviews are held starting in July or August and go through October.

All applications must include:

  • CV
  • Personal statement
  • Medical school transcripts
  • Three letters of recommendation (including a letter from the Program Director of the applicant's residency program)
  • Complete USMLE transcripts

The MetroHealth Medical Center – Case Western Reserve University Emergency Medical Services Fellowship Program participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). We will offer one position in the upcoming academic year.

International Medical Graduates (IMG) should note that completion of an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine Residency Training Program and board eligibility as determined by the American Board of Emergency Medicine is required. MetroHealth Medical Center DOES consider J1 and H1-B applicants for our fellowship training program.
