Aims
- Train outstanding EMS physicians who excel in EMS, Tactical, Flight, and Disaster Medicine
- Prepare EMS Fellows to continue a career of self-directed, lifelong learning
- Provide a foundation to build resiliency in professional and personal work
- Prepare EMS Fellows to work in with urban/rural and paid/volunteer EMS agencies
- Graduate EMS Fellows who will excel as Air Medical- Medical Director
- Provide robust, unusual, and unique exposure to tactical medicine in live and simulated operations
- Provide exceptional adult and pediatric trauma training on a daily, longitudinal basis
- Implement an ongoing EMS lecture program for EM residents and faculty
- Collaborate with strong EM residency program to take advantage of educational opportunities as well as provide education in EMS
- Make wellness a focal point for faculty and fellows
