Aims and Mission

Mission Statement:

Train cardiologists to achieve the highest standards of academic excellence as clinicians, educators, and innovators in the diagnosis and treatment of patient with heart disease.

Aims:

• To train fellows that will become evidence driven consultant cardiologists with thorough understanding of pathophysiological principals and scientific methodology as it relates to cardiology in clinical decision making.
• Training fellows to become future leaders and mentors in the field of cardiovascular disease.
• Training applicants to be life-long learners.
• To align program Aims/needs with hospital strategic Aims including hospital transformation project.
