Curriculum

Rotations are divided into 10 blocks and offer exposure to all aspects of women’s health care. The training experience is structured in such a way that residents assume progressively increasing responsibility and autonomy in patient management.

  • Residents spend 1/2 day each week in Continuity Clinic throughout their entire training program (except during Night Float or Elective rotation)
  • Residents may take 20 working days of paid vacation per academic year.

  • OB Resident Sims (3-4 per year) 
    • Recent simulations have included Perineal Lacerations, Ultrasound & Amnio, and Maternal Code

    • Recent simulations have included Hysteroscopy and Laparoscopy
  • OB Multidisciplinary Sims (1-2 per year)
    • Recent simulations have included Postpartum Hemorrhage and Shoulder Dystocia
