Crystal Mosca, MD

Brief Description – Dr. Mosca came into informatics as a physician lead for the EMR at University Hospitals providing a clinical voice to the IT teams. She developed a love for teaching and providing efficiency tips for use of the systems and working with internal teams as well as software vendors to push for better, more efficient products for providers. Her role in UH IT gradually expanded and she was Board Certified in Clinical Informatics in 2020. During the last 2 years she has been heavily involved in the transition from multiple current systems at UH to one integrated Epic platform. During the project her focus is on provider education, population health, ambulatory build, and clinical decision support.
