Brief Description –  Dr. Watts is the Senior Vice President for Quality and Chief Medical Officer, Community & Public Health at The MetroHealth System (MHS). She joined the MHS executive leadership team in January, 2018 as Vice President and Chief Quality Officer and was promoted to her current position in January, 2021. She holds an academic appointment as Professor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Clinical Informatics.

She completed her MD from The University of Alabama, her Internal Medicine residency and chief residency at The University of Michigan, advanced training in quality improvement through the Veterans Affairs Quality Scholars Fellowship, and a master’s degree in Health Policy from Case Western Reserve
