Application Process
Applications are accepted through the ERAS program, or submit the required information along with the MetroHealth Universal Application to arobertson2@metrohealth.org.
If you are interested in joining our Hospice and Palliative Medicine program as a fellow, the following items are required:
- Curriculum Vitae (must be month/year specific – no gaps)
- A copy of your current state medical license (if applicable)
- A copy of your USMLE, Comlex and/or National Board Certificate
- A copy of your Medical School Diploma
- Certified medical school transcript
- Copy of all board certifications
- A personal statement outlining your reason for pursuing a career in palliative medicine, your experiences with palliative care, and your career goal.
- Three letters of reference (one from your current or prior program director). Aside from your letter from your PD, these letters must have been written within one year of applying, and attest to personal qualifications, scholastic achievements, and clinical capabilities as related to palliative care.
