Resident Well-Being

MetroHealth Medical Center’s Graduate Medical Education department is committed to resident and fellow wellness. We promote a healthy work-life balance, encourage peer support among all our programs, and provide a safe and anonymous forum to express concerns and issues. Residency and Fellowship can be an intrinsically stressful time. The residency/fellowship programs allow greater flexibility within an established frame work that permits training in a way that best supports the professional development. The GME office supports resident physician wellness and well-being and offers many support services for our house staff.
