Why I chose MetroHealth PM&R Residency: The culture of friendly residents and supportive attendings, the strong all-around training we get, the ability to make our own resident experiences/journeys.
My favorite things about living in Cleveland: The local markets/fairs, the summers, the music performances that come to town, my co-residents!
Nirmal Maxwell, DO. Administrative Chief.
Hometown: Des Moines, IA
Medical School: Des Moines University COM
Why I chose MetroHealth PM&R Residency: I met the most genuine residents on interview day and could tell they took great pride in their work and seemed prepared for anything once they came out of residency. I knew I wanted to be part of a culture that would push me to be my best by giving me the autonomy early on to take care of patients and work with like-minded, motivated residents.
My favorite things about living in Cleveland: great variety of restaurants (I have a top 3-5 list of most cuisines). Cavs tickets are well priced. Everything is 15-25 minutes away with little traffic.
