Our department prides itself on the social and professional opportunities available to its residents. The residents and faculty are a close group, and we feel that the camaraderie here distinguishes our residency from many others. We are colleagues and also friends. We attend each others' weddings, birthday parties, and even occasionally vacation together... But if you're looking for the mundane, plenty of us would love to meet with you at a local brewery and enjoy the Cleveland scene.
Additionally, Ob/Gyn residents at MetroHealth play an active and crucial role in patient management--so if you're looking for a hands-on and fun experience, then this residency is for you! As we are a tertiary care center, we have the privilege of learning from a diverse patient population.
We produce strong, confident, and compassionate generalist Ob/Gyns, but have also been successful in matching many residents into fellowship. Our research opportunities and reputation as a strong surgical program definitely give our residents an edge.
