Hi, I’m Priya! I grew up in Columbia, Missouri, and completed both my undergraduate and medical education at the University of Missouri–Kansas City. Go Chiefs! What I love most about medicine is the opportunity to connect with people and create a space where they feel safe and heard. I have a strong interest in women’s health and advocacy. I was drawn to MetroHealth because of its commitment to delivering compassionate care to underserved communities.
I moved to Cleveland with my fiancé, who is a pathology resident. We have two cats named Boots and Cream Soda. Outside of medicine, I’m an avid crafter. Over the years, I’ve tried everything from polymer clay to resin art, and right now, I’m especially into knitting plushies. I also love cooking and exploring new restaurants—Cleveland’s food scene has already given me a long and exciting list of places to try.
Hi! I'm Elise. I was born and raised in North Olmsted, OH. I went to Bowling Green State University for undergrad and Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in Cleveland for medical school. I am excited to join MetroHealth as a family medicine resident, where I have the opportunity to serve the underserved of Cleveland and make a meaningful impact. I chose family medicine because of its broad scope and its ability to focus on both prevention and continuity of care. Within FM, I am interested in everything! Especially lifestyle medicine, addiction medicine, psych and inpatient.
Outside of medicine, I love to take on new hobbies. I play piano, guitar and I am currently trying to learn bass guitar. I like to run, hike and play in my sand volleyball league. I travel whenever I can and spend a lot of time with friends and family.
Hi, I'm Rei. I was born in Fier, Albania and moved to the United States in 1999. My family has since lived in the west suburbs of Cleveland. I went to undergrad at Washington and Lee University in rural Appalachian Virginia. After undergrad, I took two gap years to work as a medical scribe in a rheumatology clinic and get a master's degree in microbiology from the University of Florida. I finished my medical school at Ohio University. Within family medicine, I enjoy academic medicine, ultrasound, sports medicine, in-office procedures, addiction medicine, and cardiovascular disease prevention. My hobbies consist of spending time with friends, cooking, hiking, traveling, and watching Cleveland sports teams. My favorite team is the Browns.
My name is Jade, and I grew up in Charleston, WV. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh, where I studied Biology and Chinese Language and Culture. I loved Pittsburgh so much that I stayed for a year to work as a nurse’s aide before returning to my beautiful home state for medical school at the West Virginia University School of Medicine.
I’m new to Cleveland and am so excited to serve its population! My clinical interests include women’s health, patient advocacy, community health, and lifestyle/nutrition. Outside of work, you can find me with my two kitties (Frank & Susie), spending time outdoors, traveling, baking, or trying new restaurants with my fiancée!
It is a true honor to be a part of the MetroHealth residency family. I was born in Jamaica and raised in Connecticut, where I spent most of my life. I completed my undergraduate studies at Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts, where I double-majored in Neuroscience and Psychology. Following that, I returned to Connecticut and earned a Master of Public Health degree from Southern Connecticut State University. I went on to attend St. George’s University School of Medicine, where I spent two years on the beautiful island of Grenada for my pre-clinical studies, followed by two years in the United States completing my clinical training, primarily in New York.
I am thrilled to join the MetroHealth team and contribute to its mission of delivering high-quality, compassionate care to all, especially the underserved. I deeply align with MetroHealth’s core values of service, equity, and community, and I am committed to advancing health equity by providing comprehensive, accessible, and culturally responsive care to all patients. My clinical interests include women’s and reproductive health, adolescent medicine, and community outreach. I am particularly passionate about working with marginalized populations and advocating for preventive care and health education.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy cooking new recipes, traveling to experience different cultures, running, and spending quality time with family and friends. I also enjoy exploring local food scenes, attending live music events, and discovering new hiking trails—interests that make me especially appreciative of all that Cleveland has to offer..
Hi, I'm Winston! I was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. I attended medical school
directly
from high school at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
I am most interested in primary care. I want to care for a diverse patient population, especially
caring for ethnic minorities since I am multilingual. I speak Cantonese and Mandarin on top of
English, and I am currently learning Spanish. I am also passionate about taking care of those with
special needs since I have a family member with special needs myself.
Aside from medicine, my hobbies and interests include travelling, cars, basketball, and piano. I love watching the NBA and hope to attend my first NBA game in Cleveland soon!

Hi, my name is Charmaine. I’m originally from Toronto, Canada. I also completed my undergraduate education there. I spent quite a few years working for a Kumon Math and Reading Center. Then, the universe worked its magic, and I ended up at Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Missouri. Now, I'm looking forward to what residency has in store.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy catching up with family and friends, getting lost in a good jigsaw puzzle, as well as watching tv shows from the pre-2000s.
I’ve called Cleveland home since 2014 and have grown to deeply appreciate the local community. After completing medical school at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, I returned home to begin my residency training. I’m excited to find meaningful ways to give back and serve the community that has given me so much.
I was born and raised on the east side of Cleveland in a small town called Chesterland. I got my BA in Psychology at Miami University and then my MD at the Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton. I am so excited to be back home to continue my medical training with the MetroHealth family! I chose to train as a family medicine doctor because I love outpatient medicine and making small (or sometimes large) impacts on patients' lives one visit at a time. I think a family medicine physician has the potential to be a key pillar of their community who fosters healthy habits and trust in the healthcare system. Some of my areas of medical interest include sports medicine, community medicine, point-of-care ultrasound, preventative medicine, and lifestyle medicine.
Beyond medicine, I have a few things that keep me happy and healthy. I am married to my high school sweetheart Jasmine, who is a Kindergarten teacher. We have a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd named Bear and a Russian Blue cat named Grace. Some of my favorite hobbies are cooking, reading (mostly fantasy and horror), homebrewing, disc golf, biking, volleyball, and of course video games when I can find the time!!
