Aims

Provide residents with hands-on experiences to treat surgical, medical, and trauma related patient emergencies.
Give residents autonomy to make medical decisions related to the whole patient, especially those disposed to other health care settings.
Enrich training experiences with available teaching resources using simulation, ultrasound technology, bedside teaching, and training in emergency medical services.
Develop fulfilling career interests in research, in academics, or in fellowship training after residency, such as critical care, EMS, Addiction Medicine, or Ultrasound.
