Brief Description – Dr. Ruff’s interest in informatics began during her medical student elective with Dr. Kaelber nearly 8 years ago. She has since pursued this passion throughout residency, which culminated in a Fogarty Global Health Fellowship where she researched he feasibility and acceptability of personal health records of chronic disease patients in Western Kenya. She followed this time in Kenya, with a short informatics-consulting period, in which she worked with the AMPATH population health initiative. Dr. Ruff is excited to return to MetroHealth where she hopes to continue learning ways to use technology to improve the help of vulnerable populations. Dr. Ruff enjoys trying out new restaurants in Cleveland, traveling the world, and reading suspense thrillers.
