The Brain Injury Medicine fellowship will include clinical experiences in the initial acute care management, neurocritical care, acute rehabilitation and outpatient management of persons with brain injuries and concussions.
During the various clinical rotations, the fellow will have the opportunity to work with four BIM-certified attending physicians in addition to specialists in neurology, neurocritical care, neurosurgery, neuropsychology, psychiatry, and trauma surgery.
Clinical experiences will be integrated with other clinical disciplines such as rehabilitation psychology, physical and occupational therapy, speech and language pathology, recreation and music therapy, vocational therapy, nutrition and respiratory therapy.
