David W. Streem, M.D., F.A.S.A.M.

David W. Streem, M.D. is a psychiatrist and medical director of the Alcohol and Drug Recovery Center at the Cleveland Clinic and holder of the Gregory B. Collins Endowed Chair in Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation.  He also serves as the Compliance Officer for the Neurological Institute. He is certified both in psychiatry and psychosomatic medicine by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and in the subspecialty of Addiction medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine.  He is a Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine and has been a certified Medical Review Officer since 2005.  He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry in the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.

He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University, and his medical degree from The Ohio State University.
