Chase Beal, DO is originally from Highland, UT. He attended undergrad at BYU- Hawaii and medical school at Touro University Nevada. Chase chose CWRU/ MetroHealth due to the strength of the program, great cost of living and of course the best program coordinator in the business.

His clinical interests include interventional pain management. Favorite things about Cleveland: how green everything is, variety of activities available and the Metroparks. Chase's hobbies include bee-keeping, SCUBA, Hunting, Fishing, good food and seeing live music.

Lauren Dicalvo, DO is originally from Plantation, FL. She completed her undergraduate degree at Florida State University and attended medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Lauren chose CWRU/ MetroHealth because she felt most at home and comfortable on the interview day, whether that was the mom-like feeling of Randa or the environment of open communication Dr. Placeway fosters and how much he cares about the residents and residency program.

She knew she would receive excellent exposure to TBI/SCI and have the opportunity to explore new research opportunities. Finally, the group residents she met on interview day were people she could see myself having fun at work with every day (which has stood true through residency so far).

Her clinical interests include Neuro rehab and sports. Lauren's favorite things about Cleveland: still having access to a body of water and beaches along Lake Erie, Metro Park system, lots of restaurants and breweries to explore, great music scene, Hiking Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

Her hobbies include trying new restaurants (eating), cycling, snowboarding, hiking, traveling/exploring new places, game nights with friends, and spending time with her pup Lola.

Kimberly Fazio, MD is originally from Sacramento, CA. She completed undergrad at University of San Diego and medical school at the Creighton University School of Medicine. Kim chose CWRU/ MetroHealth for its supportive faculty and awesome residents.

The residents all have each other’s backs and the vibe is just good. The program has an excellent foundational training in medicine in PGY1 year and robust PM&R opportunities for PGY2-4.

Kim's clinical interests include Neuro Rehabilitation, pediatrics and MSK. Her favorite things about Cleveland include Cleveland sports and metro parks. Also the fact that everything is only 20 minutes away and everyone is very friendly. Kim's hobbies include cooking, traveling, hanging with friends and family, trying out new restaurants, attending sporting events, yoga, and anything near the water.

Steven Kim, DO is originally from Las Vegas, NV. He completed undergrad at UNLV and medical school at UNR School of Medicine. Steven chose CWRU/ MetroHealth because he had a "dope" experience here as a rotating med student. Also felt there were genuine people with a sense of camaraderie among residents/faculty/staff, awesome training in various aspects of PM&R, and Randa (our awesome program coordinator).

Favorite things about Cleveland: The Land offers a lot of fun things to do outside of work - whether in sports, the arts, metroparks, breweries, etc.. Learning more and more each day, but his current favorite thing has got to be Mitchell's Ice Cream.

Steven's hobbies include basketball, weightlifting, snowboarding, learning how to golf, making amateur art, kicking it with the homies, and walking to Mitchell's Ice Cream.

Rebecca Greenspan, DO is originally from Buffalo, NY. She attended undergrad at SUNY Binghamton and completed medical school at University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. Becca chose CWRU/ MetroHealth because her interview day at Metro was the best time she had all interview season- the residents and faculty were all super friendly and down-to-earth and had a great time getting to know everyone.

She also appreciates that the training program is very well-rounded and has great exposure to all aspects of PM&R. We see a high level of patient acuity which makes for excellent learning opportunities. We also have amazing opportunities to get involved in research. Becca's clinical interests include brain injury and spasticity. Her favorite things about Cleveland include the food and brewery scene, checking out all the cool neighborhoods and the Metroparks, and looking forward to seeing live music again when all of great venues open back up. Becca's hobbies include sewing, reading, music, comedy podcasts, yoga.
