- MetroHealth System Great Catch Award. A new inpatient order came through the pharmacy for losartan which was not on the patient’s home medication list. After searching the patient’s EMR, it was noted the patient had angioedema on lisinopril which was not on her allergy list. The medical team was notified. Resident: Emily Doycich

- Ohio Society of Health System Pharmacist Best Practice Award. MetroHealth’s Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Services were recognized at the state level for their innovative, patient centered services in chronic disease state management, specialty pharmacy, and geriatrics care.
