Aims

The MetroHealth Medical Center Gastroenterology Fellowship program provides exposure to a diverse patient population encompassing a wide range of problems involving the gastrointestinal tract and liver.   The Program strives to:

• Train motivated residents and fellows who have insatiable thirst for knowledge 
• Training excellent clinicians for a variety of career paths: academic Gastroenterology, advanced fellowship, and/or private practice 
• Instill the value of a commitment to life-long learning in the field of Gastroenterology 
• Train GI fellows to understand the concepts of population health, practice of cost-effective medicine, and their role in reducing healthcare disparities
