About Me
I have undertaken Paediatrics and Neonatology training in both India and the United Kingdom, which has provided me with a strong clinical foundation and a broad, international perspective on neonatal care. I had the privilege of working at leading UK institutions, including Great Ormond Street Hospital and King’s College Hospital in London. My clinical interests particularly focus on the care of extremely premature infants, with a special emphasis on nutrition, long-term developmental outcomes, and the management of neonatal sepsis.I am also deeply interested in the care of infants affected by neonatal abstinence syndrome, recognising the complex medical and social challenges these patients face.I am dedicated to evidence-based, family-centered care and continually strive to advance my knowledge and skills in these key areas of neonatal medicine.
As a Neonatology Fellow at MetroHealth, I am excited to be part of a dynamic and supportive training program. I’ve had the opportunity to care for a diverse population of neonates, including critically ill and extremely premature infants. The fellowship provides excellent exposure to hands-on clinical care, multidisciplinary teamwork, and academic learning. The faculty are dedicated educators and mentors who foster a collaborative environment. I am particularly interested in the care and nutrition of extremely preterm babies, and I look forward to contributing to ongoing quality improvement and research efforts in this area as my training progresses.
Cleveland is a welcoming and vibrant city that offers a great balance of professional opportunity and personal comfort. It has been a pleasure to explore the city’s cultural attractions, beautiful outdoor spaces, and friendly neighborhoods. One of my favorite aspects of living here is the breathtaking view of Lake Erie—being able to see the lake from my balcony is one of the best wishes I’ve ever had come true. It provides a peaceful and inspiring backdrop, especially after a long day at work. The affordability and accessibility of Cleveland make it an ideal place for both training and living. Being part of MetroHealth has allowed me to work with a diverse patient population and contribute meaningfully to the community. I am proud to be training here and look forward to all that the coming years have to offer, both professionally and personally.
