About Me
I was born and raised in Hyderabad, India, a city known for its rich history, diverse cultures, and of course, its biryani! Growing up, I loved experiencing the blend of traditions, languages, food, and communities that make the city so unique. Hyderabad has always been home to me, and it is where my journey in medicine began. I attended medical school at Osmania Medical College, and I am very excited and grateful to be at MetroHealth for my residency.
I chose Family Medicine because of its breadth and versatility-the opportunity to care for patients of all ages and address a wide range of medical needs. I was particularly drawn to the multidisciplinary approach to care in the United States, which closely aligns with my vision of providing holistic, accessible, and needs-based care to communities. I am excited to continue learning and developing my skills as a well-rounded Family Medicine physician.
In my free time, you’ll find me watching movies and TV shows, painting, drawing, listening to Indian music, spending time with my friends and family, and most importantly sleeping!
One of the things I enjoy most about my training at MetroHealth is the numerous opportunities to learn every day. I enjoy learning from my patients, attendings, senior residents, nurses, pharmacists, and other members of the healthcare team. I especially appreciate how supportive the attendings and senior residents are. They are always willing to answer our questions while also encouraging us to think through clinical problems and arrive at our own conclusions rather than simply giving us the answers. I really enjoy being part of such a collaborative learning environment and look forward to continuing to learn from everyone around me.
I am still in the process of exploring Cleveland, but my favorite place so far has been Edgewater Park. I love being by the lake, taking a walk, and enjoying the views. I am looking forward to exploring more neighborhoods and restaurants during my time here.
