About Me
I am originally from Northfield, Ohio, and completed my bachelor’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology at John Carroll University. I then attended Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) in Erie, Pennsylvania, where I earned my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. I chose family medicine because I value the opportunity to care for patients across a wide range of ages and treat a broad variety of conditions. During college, I developed a strong desire to serve underserved populations. MetroHealth’s commitment to caring for underserved and diverse communities closely aligns with my career goals, while completing residency close to home allows me to remain connected to the community that shaped me.
I enjoy training at MetroHealth because of the people, culture, and strong connection to the Cleveland community. As a large academic training institution, MetroHealth offers a diverse and collaborative environment with many opportunities to learn and grow. The ability to work closely with the Cleveland community was one of the main reasons I was drawn to the program and continues to be one of the most rewarding aspects of my training.
In my free time, I enjoy going to Guardians games and seeing shows at Playhouse Square. I also love trying new restaurants and bars throughout the city and spending time outdoors in the Metroparks when the weather permits. Being back in Cleveland has also allowed me to spend more time with family and friends, which was a major draw for me in returning home.
