I was born and raised in Delhi, India, where I grew up in a family that valued education, resilience, and service.

During medical school, I became fascinated by the breadth of internal medicine and the developmental insights of pediatrics, ultimately leading me to pursue combined Internal Medicine–Pediatrics training. What excites me most is the opportunity to care for patients across the lifespan while building long-term relationships and tackling complex medical challenges. My journey has been shaped by curiosity, compassion, and a desire to serve, and I am grateful for the path that has brought me to MetroHealth.

Training at MetroHealth has been an enriching experience. The diverse patient population provides rich clinical exposure, from managing complex adult medical conditions to addressing unique pediatric needs. What stands out most is the culture of mentorship and support—I have found faculty and senior residents who are approachable, invested in teaching, and eager to help me grow both clinically and personally.

One of the things I enjoy most about living in Cleveland is discovering its mix of natural beauty and diverse food culture. The Cleveland Metroparks have quickly become some of my favorite places to relax and recharge—whether it’s walking along the lakefront at Edgewater Park, hiking through the scenic trails at the Ledges in Cuyahoga Valley National Park, or enjoying the stunning views at Brandywine Falls. These outdoor escapes provide a refreshing balance to residency life and a chance to appreciate nature year-round.

I particularly enjoy the vast variety of food and dessert this city has to offer. If you are here for just a day, don’t miss Il Rione for some of the best pizza, Mitchell’s Ice Cream for a true Cleveland favorite, and West Side Market for an iconic food experience where you can sample everything from fresh produce to international flavors.
