About Me

Title(s): Resident

I was born in New York City, and as fun as it would be to call myself a New Yorker, I actually grew up in the Midwest. I am also a first generation American and eldest daughter of Bangladeshi immigrant parents. The strong medical background within my family naturally increased my curiosity towards medicine, however my early volunteering experiences with patients ultimately solidified my decision to pursue medicine as a career.

Throughout my training, I particularly enjoyed the valuable learning experiences I have had with various attendings, and I truly see them as great mentors. My co-residents are fun, and we support each other throughout the ups and downs of residency in general.

Prior to residency, I had never set foot in Cleveland. But I was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful things Cleveland had to offer - diverse food scene, Lake Erie, beautiful parks, and so much more. This city truly has its fair share of hidden gems. P.S. Ferris has the best shawarma ever!
