About Me
Born and raised in a small town in the Punjab region of Pakistan, I completed my medical degree at a prestigious medical school in Lahore. Witnessing the rampant, yet easily preventable, infectious diseases that caused critical illness inspired me to pursue a career in medicine so that I could educate people and make a difference.
My time at MetroHealth has been incredibly rewarding, helping me grow both professionally and personally. The Internal Medicine and Pediatric programs offer a top-tier training experience, supported by well-structured curriculums. The Graduate Medical Education (GME) office is a strong advocate for residents, and our program director has consistently provided actionable responses to feedback. This commitment to resident well-being and education has made my training here an absolute pleasure.
I moved to Cleveland from Pakistan in 2022 to begin my training. While I've lived in other cities briefly, Cleveland holds a special place for me. I've truly come to love the MetroParks, the Lake Erie coastline, and the city's diverse and vibrant food scene.
