About Me
I was born and raised in the Detroit area of Michigan! I studied dance as an undergraduate and made the choice to pursue medicine shortly after finishing college, while living in NYC. I was primarily motivated by a desire to advocate for others more directly, and found a sense of purpose through different roles in health care. I then pursued a premedical postbac program at the University of Michigan before completing my medical school training at Rush Medical College in Chicago. I ultimately chose a career in Ob/Gyn because I was drawn to the combination of working in a surgical specialty, while also providing preventative and comprehensive reproductive health care across the lifespan.
I rotated at MetroHealth as a medical student and immediately knew it was where I wanted to be for the next steps in my training. It is an incredibly positive learning environment and more importantly, the faculty and staff go above and beyond to do what’s best for our patients. It helps that all of my co-residents are also the most supportive!
I have loved getting to explore Cleveland - from sports games and broadway shows to the Metroparks and lakefront. There are so many amazing coffee shops to try and the green spaces are unmatched. I highly recommend biking the Towpath out to Cuyahoga Valley National Park!
