About Me

Title(s): Resident

I was born and raised in Indonesia — yes, the same country where Bali is, and we are actually the fourth most populous country in the world, right after India, China, and the US. During medical school, I was always drawn to internal medicine because of the mix of science, problem-solving, and the chance to make a direct impact on people’s lives. Beyond the clinical side, I am also fascinated by the research opportunities — there are still so many unanswered questions, and I hope to play a part in filling some of those gaps.

One of the things I value most about training at MetroHealth is the diversity of patients and cases I encounter. As a safety-net hospital, it gives me exposure to conditions I might not see elsewhere and allows me to care for patients from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds. These experiences are both humbling and eye-opening for me.

There are just so many things you can do in Cleveland. On my days off, I enjoy playing pickleball or board games with my co-residents. And of course, catching a Cavaliers game is always a highlight (Let's go Cavs!).
