About Me

Title(s): Resident

I grew up in a small town in Northwest Ohio. My passion for medicine began with a desire to make a lasting impact on people’s quality of life, to be their advocate, and to guide them through different seasons of health. I chose family medicine because it allows me to build long-term relationships, serve as a trusted primary contact, and create positive change in my community. My professional interests include LGBTQ+ medicine, street medicine, correctional health, community health, and advocacy.

Training at MetroHealth has given me the confidence that I will graduate as a well-rounded family physician. The most rewarding part of my residency experience is caring for patients who face significant barriers to care—those who are publicly insured, uninsured, or otherwise marginalized—and advocating for them. I also value the program’s breadth of opportunities within family medicine, from addiction and HIV medicine to gender-affirming care, behavioral health, correctional medicine, and caring for patients who are unhoused. MetroHealth’s mission and its commitment to this patient population continually inspire me and have opened doors to skills and experiences that will shape my career.

I have lived in Cleveland for seven years and enjoy being part of this vibrant community. I love exploring its diverse neighborhoods and spending time outdoors in the city’s parks. MetroHealth’s central location makes it easy to experience all that Cleveland has to offer, and I value being part of a community with such pride and energy.
