About Me

Title(s): Resident

I am originally from southern New Hampshire. I attended college at The Ohio State University, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience before working as a General Chemistry Teaching Associate at the university. My experiences at Ohio State and coaching sports in high school and college fostered within me a love of teaching, which directed me towards a career in medicine. I then matriculated into the Tufts University School of Medicine Maine Medical Center Program, where I developed my passion for PM&R and a strong interest in ultimately serving rural populations. Outside of work, I love to explore new places (both locally and globally!) and getting active with running and other sports.

The faculty at MetroHealth are fantastic educators; I am constantly learning to be a better clinician on every rotation under their guidance. In particular, the PM&R faculty and program leadership are incredibly engaged in teaching and very supportive! In addition to learning from faculty, I have also had the opportunity to learn from diverse patient populations and treat patients with complex medical conditions from all over northeast Ohio. What has made my experience as a resident here even better are my co-residents. They are a wealth of knowledge, incredibly supportive, and make every day more enjoyable. I also love that the PM&R program at MetroHealth holds shared didactics with residents from the other two PM&R residencies in Cleveland because it broadens and strengthens my educational experience.

I love how many things there are to do in Cleveland! Some of my favorite experiences so far have been the Lantern Festival at the zoo and attending sporting events. You can find me at Cleveland Guardians or Monsters games pretty regularly! I also love exploring the MetroParks (Rocky River Reservation is a favorite) and finding new local 5K races to run. Cleveland also has quite a few great restaurants and ice cream shops - I love walking to Mitchell's Ice Cream or Mason's Creamery on a warm summer afternoon.
