About Me

Title(s): Resident

I was born and raised in New York. I earned a bachelor's in biology from SUNY Binghamton University and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from New York Medical College. In addition to providing medical care, my aspiration is to leverage my education and public health background to advocate for the needs of vulnerable populations. I was drawn to MetroHealth because its values and mission to help the underserved.

I moved to Ohio in 2008 after I got married and have been calling Ohio home since. I started medical school at NEOMED as a nontraditional student with two young children and had two more while I was in medical school. Needless to say, I struggled in more ways than one! My passion for medicine helped me persevere through some of my most difficult challenges. These challenges not only humbled me but made me a more empathetic and compassionate provider. I am very excited about having the opportunity to train with bright and talented mentors in a setting where diversity is celebrated! My clinical interests include behavioral health, preventative medicine, and women's health.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy gardening, photography, cooking, traveling, and spending time with my friends and family.

The most gratifying aspect of medical training at MetroHealth is the chance to work with and serve a unique patient population. We have the opportunity to see and learn a breadth of pathologies. I feel confident that the rigorous training I am receiving at MetroHealth will shape me into the type of doctor I would trust to care for my loved ones.

Favorite things to do: Cedar Point, the Butterfly exhibit at the Cleveland Botanical Garden, watching sunsets at Lakewood Park, taking my kids to playgrounds and splash parks, apple picking, and shopping at Trader Joe's. Favorite places to eat: Il Rione Pizzaria, Bangkok Thai, Anatolia Cafe, RH Rooftop, Brassica, Mango Mango Dessert.
