About Me
I was born and raised in the greater Cleveland area and stayed close to home for medical school at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). My path into medicine grew out of a mix of curiosity about science and a desire to work directly with people during some of the most important moments in their lives. During medical school, I found anesthesiology to be the perfect combination of physiology, hands-on procedures, and critical care. It offered the chance to apply knowledge in real time to keep patients safe and comfortable, which resonated deeply with me.
I first rotated at MetroHealth as a medical student, and it quickly stood out to me as a place where I could see myself training. The faculty and staff were approachable and genuinely invested in teaching, which made me feel welcome from the start. The patient population is diverse and often faces complex medical and social challenges, which makes the clinical learning especially meaningful. On top of that, MetroHealth’s reputation and experience with trauma care offer exposure to cases that few other places can match. Coming back here as a resident has felt like a natural fit, and I am grateful to continue growing in this environment.
Cleveland has always been home for me, and I have enjoyed being back here for residency. On my days off I like getting out on the golf courses around the city and spending time by the lake. I also enjoy exploring the local food scene, with spots like Il Rione for pizza and Superior Pho being a couple of my go-to places. The sports scene is also a big part of the city, with the Guardians, Cavs, and Browns bringing people together throughout the year. Cleveland has a great mix of food, sports, and community, which makes it a great place to live and train.
