About Me
Hey! My name is Alexandra and I'm a Family Medicine intern at Metro! I was born and raised on the east side of Cleveland in Shaker Heights. I lived in Cleveland for most of my 20s (working and going to grad school) but went to med school in North Carolina. I absolutely love Cleveland and had a great experience working at Metro after college, so I was very excited to apply to residency here!
I decided to pursue medicine when I was young because the human body fascinated me and I had a passion for serving underserved populations. My current interest is Adolescent Medicine.
What I have enjoyed most about my time at Metro so far is giving back to my local community and the positive attitudes of my co-residents!
My favorite part about Cleveland is the waterfront at Edgewater park--a vibrant place to spend free time in the summer and fall! Cleveland is a very multicultural city, which is what makes it so exciting and allows it to have a great food scene! There's also a lot of green space with many outdoor activities and hikes/trails throughout the suburbs.
