Born and raised in northeast Ohio, initially growing up in Hartville before moving to Cleveland for undergrad at Case Western Reserve University. Following undergrad, he went to Athens, Ohio where he completed his doctor of osteopathic medicine and his master of business administration. He then returned to Cleveland for residency at The MetroHealth System and Cleveland Clinic Emergency Medicine Residency before starting ultrasound fellowship.
