Dr. Mosca came into informatics as a physician lead for the EMR at University Hospitals providing a clinical voice to the IT teams. She developed a love for teaching and providing efficiency tips for use of the systems and working with internal teams as well as software vendors to push for better, more efficient products for providers. Her role in UH IT gradually expanded, and she was Board Certified in Clinical Informatics in 2020. In 2023 she was a part of the UH transition to Epic and continues to focus on ongoing optimization of Epic, clinical decision support, and population health. Her largest current project is bringing ambient AI for note creation to UH providers as well as evaluating and guiding other clinical AI implementation at UH.
