Advanced Practice Provider Fellowships
About Our Fellowship Programs
We offer a paid 12-month postgraduate APP Fellowship programs (non-GME) that allow advanced practice providers (NP/PA) an additional year of training to specialize in a specific area of medicine or surgery. These experiences differ from our transition to practice program (onboarding & orientation) that is afforded to all APP medical staff provider hires to MetroHealth. Some activities may be shared, combining education, mentorship and extensive clinical practice experiences.
Each of these 12-month programs has its own application and selection requirements and, upon completion, prepares the APP for additional credentialing and certification, and potential employment opportunities within our system. Start and completion dates vary by fellowship.
