About Me

A Cleveland area native, Dr. Lydon was a chemistry major at Boston College and then graduated from Case Western Reserve School of Medicine in 1986. He was a practicing anesthesiologist for 18 years. He then did his subspecialty training in Addiction Medicine at St. Vincent Charity in 2014 with Dr. Theodore Parran and has been associated with his medical group since 2016.

Dr. Lydon currently serves as the Medical Director of Stella Maris, a free-standing inpatient treatment facility in Cleveland's Flats area. He was associate faculty of the Addiction Medicine Fellowship when it was previously based at St. Vincent Charity Hospital. Dr. Lydon's special interests include the biologic basis of addiction, neuropharmacology, medical management of complex withdrawal symptoms, and the role of Spirituality in recovery. Dr. Lydon is board certified in Anesthesiology and Addiction Medicine.
