Aims

  1. Train well prepared Brain Injury Medicine physicians to practice in various settings, whether inpatient or outpatient, private or academic. 
  2. Equip all fellows with a working knowledge of research methodology and statistics in order to complete a project for submission for publication or presentation at a national conference by the end of the fellowship. 
  3. Provide fellows with required procedural experience for steroid injections, chemo-denervation with neurotoxins, and intrathecal baclofen pump maintenance. 
  4. Prepare fellows with the appropriate mentoring and advising skills to assist with reaching career goals and developing leadership skills. 
  5. Provide opportunities for fellows to cultivate teaching and presentation skills.
